Fitness Excellence® TRAINING PHILOSOPHY:
Offer clients a challenging, fun exercise experience while using an individualized approach to assess, motivate, educate and train adult and youth athletes to reach their maximum performance potential.
The programs created to help individuals improve their fitness are built around the "SPA method", where the focus is on - Speed, Power and Agility. Adherence to this discipline will provide the structure for individuals to achieve their fitness goals, enhance athletic performance and prepare adult and youth athletes for upcoming events and competitions. The program can considerably improve the adult and youth athlete's speed, coordination, agility, quickness, balance, reaction time, strength, musculoskeletal and cardiovascular endurance, flexibility, power, body composition, self esteem and motivation to exercise.
Personal training programs and services (Ex: 1:1, small group, boot camp, youth, web-based, etc) are offered throughout the United States and the world either in person, via phone or on-line coaching.

Customized program design and coaching are offered for individuals interested in workouts in the privacy of their own home, company gym, or outside at a local park or school playground. After completing the Health History and PAR-Q forms your fitness coach will design a program specific to your needs and goals. Sessions can be between 30 – 60 minutes in length and each workout takes you one step closer to achieving Fitness Excellence®!

Small Group
For groups of 2-4 participants Small Group training offers you a chance to interface with a Fitness Coach at a very affordable price. Whether it be for fat loss, general conditioning, or elite level athletics, the added motivation of having others working out in the same room with you pushes you to a new effort level. Train with friends, family, or co-workers! Start your own group or join an established group.
Small group personal training sessions are 30 – 60 minutes in length. Custom designed workouts are tailored specifically to each small group. You will receive accountability, motivation, support, experience and expert guidance to reach your level of Fitness Excellence® at an economical rate.

No Limits Athletic Boot Camp
We like to say, “We’ve been doing Boot Camps before Boot Camps were cool.” As a fitness coach that has been conducting Boot Camp workouts for over 8 years you can be sure you are getting the most experienced, qualified and exhilarating Boot Camp workouts in the area and most likely the industry! Check out one of our early Boot Camp workouts in this archived session. Notice the date and if you can read the writing you’ll agree the drills and structure are appropriate even today and we were doing this back in 2003!
No single workout is ever the same and it’s the main reason we’ve continued coaching Boot Camp workouts for almost a decade. During this entire time we have maintained a core group of loyal, dedicated, and happy Boot Camp participants. We are adding new members every week. Will you be next?

Each session is 1 hour of Pure Fitness Excitement involving a dynamic warm-up, weighted jump rope, high intensity interval drills that include plyometrics, sprinting, body weight and resistance tube exercises, medicine balls and other challenging total body exercises, finishing with abs/core and stretching.
All sessions are conducted outdoors and require a minimum of 5 participants for each workout. The first session is ALWAYS FREE. Current participants who bring a friend - you AND the friend workout for FREE for that session!
This workout is recommended for ages 12 and up and for anyone who is athletic minded or interested in achieving Fitness Excellence®.
What do you need to bring:

A positive attitude, desire to improve your level of fitness, Towel, Mat, Water, and come dressed in appropriate clothing for the weather conditions at the time.
**INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY: You will be notified via text and/or email at least 1 hour before a class' start time if a class is cancelled due to inclement weather.

Individual Youth and Team Training
Our children and teenagers deserve the highest quality in professional care offered by the most experienced and well educated individuals possible. As a Certified Youth Fitness Specialists through the International Youth Conditioning Association, Fitness Excellence® can deliver results for your child. The IYCA and we believe that developmentally-sound, fun and goal-oriented exposure to fitness and sport is a necessary building block in progressing youth through the formative years into adulthood.
The program we offer for your child is designed to help prevent injury and improve overall athletic development by placing special emphasis on dynamic athletic movement mechanics. These protocols not only address the proper mechanics needed for optimal linear running speed, but also emphasize the multi-directional athletic movement mechanics such as deceleration training, braking, changing direction, stopping and cutting that are essential for today’s athletes to get them from point A to B and back again with little effort or wasted steps. Basic athleticism does not stop with running and stopping; thus, balance and proprioceptive training, flexibility training and functional strength and power training exercises are also incorporated into each week’s workouts to help ensure complete athletic development and minimize the risk of injury for each athlete.

Corporate Wellness Program
Your employees are your company’s greatest asset. A customized employee wellness program will help them to enjoy better health and well-being while at work. Fitness Excellence® can develop a comprehensive employee wellness program designed to provide employees with the time, tools, resources, and support system to get fit and feel well both physically and mentally.
A custom program includes a variety of planned physical activities such as, organized walks, boot camp workouts, bike rides, and trail hikes. Also available are health and fitness articles, both printed and electronic, a monthly newsletter, healthy recipes, and local area park and trail guides. We offer monthly ”brown bag” lunch meetings for employees that feature special guests speaking on a variety of topics including; exercise, nutrition, mind/body, and personal motivation, to keep participants inspired to succeed.

Jennifer believes in the adage, “an apple a day keeps the doctor away!” A runner and cyclist, herself, she encourages patients to enjoy an active lifestyle everyday while eating fresh, unprocessed foods to fuel their bodies and brains. Jennifer graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutritional Sciences from the Pennsylvania State University before completing her dietetic internship at the National Institutes of Health. A true Nittany Lion, she returned to Penn State to attain her Master of Science degree while working as the sensory lab technician for the Center for Food Innovation. Jennifer joined Nova Medical Group in 2006 as the Director of Nutrition Services after moving back to Northern Virginia. In 2011, she left Nova Medical Group and founded The Healthy Haas, LLC in order to meet her clients’ needs in a more unique and comprehensive manner. Through this new venue, Jennifer takes each patient through a complete nutritional makeover. The journey begins with a thorough examination of past eating and exercise habits and ends with empowering patients to make current changes that will ultimately prevent future disease and promote optimal health. She stays active in both the American Dietetic Association and the Northern Virginia Dietetic Association. Her favorite aspect of being a dietitian is the interaction that comes from working with patients one-on-one in a collaborative setting with other physicians, specialists, and fitness experts as part of the medical care team. She thrives on seeing her patients improve under her guidance and has used her nutritional knowledge to diagnose and treat difficult conditions in various age groups. Her ultimate goal for every patient is to wean them off of prescription medications (or prevent them from starting medications) by changing their lifestyle habits. It’s never too early or too late to get healthy . . .
